Microdata sets | Population census 1971 GDR
Public-Use-File
The present Public Use File includes absolutely anonymised microdata from a 25%-household sample of the German Democratic Republic (GDR) population census of 1971. The dataset contains 104 variables for 4.1 million persons in 1.6 million households. The data are available in ASCII-format. Additionally, read-in routines are supplied which allow you to convert the ASCII-format into a SPSS, Stata or SAS file.
